Quick update on our May work party — we’re shifting the date from May 9 to May 16 to take advantage of a better low tide window. This will give us a great opportunity to tackle some shoreline projects more effectively.
Planned projects include:
- Cleaning the grid
- Relocating bulkhead rocks that have migrated — time to hit the gym!
- Advancing the shoreline landscaping project
- Wood splitting and moving to shed
- General club clean-up (clubhouse windows, deck, preassure washing something, etc).
We’d also love to have some extra hands — please consider bringing along your teenage sailors to work alongside club members. It’s a great way to pitch in and stay connected to the club.
About 10 days before the work party, I’ll send out the usual signup email with details.
